Members of Air China PhoenixMiles will now be entitled to earn either 800 or 400 kilometers of air China Travel mileage earning simply by staying at any of the participating properties of Gloria Hotels & Resorts across China. Meanwhile, members of "Gloria Partner", the Gloria Hotels & Resorts' loyalty program can also redeem 800 kilometers by using 2,500 of their membership points.
Turkish Airlines has announced that it will launch direct flights from Istanbul to Beijing and Shanghai to meet the demand from the increasing number of passengers between Turkey and China. From June 29, the current Istanbul-Beijing-Shanghai route will be China Travel divided into two separate roundtrip routes: Istanbul-Beijing and Istanbul-Shanghai.
China Southern Airlines will launch a new route from Guangzhou to Dacca, capital of Bangladesh from July 5. This makes China Southern the China Travel fourth carrier to offer air services between China and Bangladesh.
